Bexleyheath Golf Course Bexley

Bexleyheath Golf Course

> Enlarge picture
Golf has been played here since 1909, when Bexleyheath Golf Club was established. Made on former farmland, possibly part of the Blendon House estate, the 9-hole golf course has the appearance of vestigial parkland planting, with small tree clumps and some standards on the slopes. A building called The Thatched Cottage was recorded in the late 1950s.
